IT Field Service Technician (Raleigh, NC Area)

Compensation: $13.00 – $18.00 /hour (pay rate is dependent upon skills and experience)

Employment Type: Full-time

Piper Technologies, Inc. is a network services and structured cabling company that installs a wide variety of network and POS equipment.

We currently have a position open for an IT Field Service Technician in the Raleigh, NC area. Candidates should be self-starters with good computer hardware, network, and customer service skills.

Requirements are preferred and not limited to:

  • Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Technical resource for installation team
  • Knowledge of Phone Lines, Phone Boards, and Phone Systems
  • Structured cabling experience
  • POS installation and troubleshooting experience
  • Manage multiple tasks and work in a team environment
  • Work unsupervised
  • Strong communication with management including written updates on progress

This position requires flexible work hours with extensive travel.

We are looking for a motivated, self-starter who can work with little supervision. Preferred technical background includes: structured cabling, Cisco networking, and POS experience.

Qualified candidates must have a clean driving record, flexible schedule, and be willing to travel outside of the area.
